Szilvia Hauer

She graduated as a psychologist from Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church. Previously she received degrees in economics (2004) and environmental management (MA, 2009) from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. After years spent in the for profit sector, she worked as project coordinator and community organizer at various environmentalist organizations. She started volunteering at Háttér Society at the Information and Counselling Hotline. In 2015-2016 she worked a volunteer financial officer at Háttér. Since 2013 she has worked at several organizations focusing on disadvantaged youth and youth professionals. In 2017 she worked with teenagers for a year at Vadaskert Psychiatric Service for Children. She uses the methods of drama pedagogy and experiential learning in her work with groups.
