Erika Apli

She graduated from Eötvös Lóránd University as a youth worker, and is currently studying Óbuda University to become an electronic engineer. She started her activist work at Rainbow Mission Foundation (Budapest Pride) in 2009. She volunteered at several civil society organizations and participated in the organization of several grass roots LGBTQ events. She joined Háttér Society in 2011. She considers it important to balance rationality and empathy in her volunteer work at Háttér Society. Between 2017 and 2019 she was the program director of the Information and Counselling Hotline, and since May 2018 she is one of the board members of the organization. Since Spring 2019 she has been the acting director of the HIV/AIDS Program, and since January 2020 the office manager of the association.
