Péter Halász
coordinator, Personal Counselling Service
As an international human rights expert, I graduated as an international human rights expert from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University, where I also continue my doctoral studies focusing on the situation of LGBTQI refugees. I consider it an important task to support the LGBTQI community, whether it is to protect their fundamental human rights and dignity or to nurture their mental health. In 2021, I completed the telephone helpline training at Háttér Society. I've been working as a volunteer in the Legal Aid Service, and since 2021 I have been participating in the work of the Háttér Society as a personal helper. From 2022, I'm the coordinator of the Personal Helper Service.
