Speak Out: A Survey of Online Anti-LGBT+ Hate Speech and Hate Crime

In the framework of our international project Speak Out we conducted an online survey in June-August 2019 which examined the experience of LGBTQI people with online hate speech and hate crimes. The report analyzes data from the 2,538 participants (including 446 Hungarian respondents) who were asked about the prevalence of online hate speech and hate crimes, their impact on victims, the reporting of incidents and their handling, and their rights awareness and knowledge of existing resources.
