Inclusive Spaces: Human Rights and Alternative Education

Háttér Society participates in a research, training and educational project titled Inclusive Spaces: Creating Inclusive Spaces through Human Rights Education and Alternative Learning Journeys in association with three other Hungarian NGOs between February 2022 and 2024 January.


  • reducing discrimination against LGBTQI people in the workplace
  • reducing the harassment and bullying of LGBTQI people in schools
  • educating employers on LGBTQI-related issues
  • raising social awareness through the representation of the everyday experiences of LGBTQI people


  • research on th experience of LGBTQI youth at school and LGBTQI people in the workplace, the effects of the propaganda law on school and workplace educational programs
  • a toolkit for teachers and a guide for schools on the bullying of LGBTQI students
  • training teachers and volunteer trainers to create an inclusive school environment
  • organizing educational sessions and workshops
  • publishing e-learning materials for students and employees
  • holding a project closing conference
