Methodology
The research was conducted using a community sample, which, despite its high number of respondents, does not have the validity of a statistically representative sample. Respondents were recruited through several channels, including LGBTQI civil society organizations, websites targeting LGBTQI people (news portals, dating sites), LGBTQI media products, LGBTQI venues and targeted advertisements published on social media. The data collection took place between January 13 and March 19, 2023 in the form of a self-administered online questionnaire.
Questionnaire
The questionnaire consisted of seventeen blocks, the first blocks contained questions on demographic data and the experience of sexual orientation and gender identity, while the rest explored the social situation, experiences and opinions of LGBTQI people on certain topics. The questions covered the following topics: family and friends; intimate partnership; parenting; employment; education; healthcare; religion; violence; discrimination; media; civil society; politics.
