Social Support Service
Háttér Society's new Social Support Service provides individual social work assistance to LGBTQI individuals, addressing practical challenges in areas such as employment, healthcare, housing, and administrative issues. Through this service, a social worker collaborates with the client to create and carry out a personalized action plan.
What can we do for you?
If you experience difficulties with:
- finding work (education planning, CV, motivation letter, job search, job application, workplace integration)
- access to health care (clarifying social security status, finding and visiting doctors, psychiatric and addiction treatment, specialist care)
- housing (finding housing, organising temporary housing)
- other administrative matters (applying for benefits, changing your name, registering a civil partnership, dealing with government offices)
Are you unsure if we can help?
In this case, feel free to contact us! If your concern falls outside the scope of the Social Support Service, we will assist in connecting you with other relevant services, either within our organization or externally.
